Beijing hospitals to promote use of community clinics for people with chronic illnesses

As part of hospital reform, the Beijing Chaoyang Hospital established an alliance with other medical institutions. The alliance, which involves four hospitals and seven community healthcare centers in Chaoyang district, aims to encourage more people to seek treatment at small institutions. This will enable small institutions to concentrate on chronic ailments and large hospitals to treat more complicated conditions.
